Any free Boston guide books and coupon books?

It seems like all the tourism web sites for Boston want to charge you for visitor information. Do any of you know of any place to get free visitor information, etc.?

Thanks!

I’d suggest you look at Frommer’s and Fodor’s online sites [or their guidebooks at your library] and perhaps Lonely Planet. BudgetTravel.com maybe [that's done by Frommer's].

You ought to be able to get free info from an "official" Boston website, such as the Convention & Visitors’ Bureau, etc.

You could also try TripAdvisor.com. They have hotel ratings/comments from past guests and also "destination guides".

A site that might save you some money [you'll have to calculate whether it will or not] is CityPass.com. They have a "pass" for Boston sights.
